Education Design-a-thon Results
The Residency held an education design-a-thon on Twitter to surface novel ideas to improve our education systems. Checkout this thread if you are curious how we ran the competition.
There were so many great insights into what current students see as the most pressing problems in our education system.

Third place went to Mathu.
Mathu proposes using UN sustainable development goals, 2 months learning sprints, and bounties to help students, learn and earn while working on the world’s most pressing problems.
Second place went to Pooria.
Pooria is creating “hives” of 5 students to create motivated learning communities. Checkout his thread to see how AI, gamification, & “trailblazers” play essential roles.
First place went to Jessie.
Jesse blew away the judges describing his vision for the future of education. His submission is very thoughtful, practical, and encompassing, definitely check it out!
